Dramaturgical Reading Program

The Dramaturgical Reading Program offers a professional dramaturg’s report on completed one-act or full-length plays. You will receive a detailed analysis of the script, constructive criticism, and questions for consideration for the next draft.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: The PTC Dramaturgical Reading Program is open to submissions from across the country. Submitting playwrights must be current PTC members.

FEES:
- Full Length (60 pages and over): $75.00
- One-Act (59 pages and under): $50.00

SUBMISSIONS MUST:
- Be printed in 12-point font on unbound, single-sided, white, letter-size paper
- Include the playwrights name, email address, and telephone number 
(This information will be used only to correspond with the playwright regarding their submission and to inform them of PTC Events in which they may be interested)
- Include a cheque, money order, or cash for the submission fee, plus membership fee if applicable
- Be sent via regular post or dropped off in person. Submissions sent via e-mail will not be accepted

Reports are generally returned in four weeks, except in the month of November during the Colony, when turn around is six – eight weeks.

PTC is not a producing theatre. Please do not send cold submissions.
